En édition limitée à 50 exemplaires, il est imprimé sur coton et entièrement monté à la main sur un cadre en bois peint. Il est accompagné d’un fourreau en vinyl noir, fait-main lui aussi.

Le retour de la bite dans l’art Salo permet à l’instar des sociologues d’avoir une vue acérée sur l’expression de l’art contemporain dans son jus le plus récent. Le sexe féminin fut mis à l’honneur de nombreuses années sous toutes ses formes, le goût pour la chatte en pendentif, en latex, en fourrure, en photo, en peinture, en couleur et en noir et blanc, habita avec plaisir Salo depuis sa création en 2013. Les animaux les plus divers étaient également convoqués, copulant entre eux ou avec des femmes, mais souvent la bite humaine était tenue à l’écart dans sa représentation, à tort ou à raison. Pour ce huitième Salo, la bite fait son grand retour. Parmi les nombreuses candidatures reçues cette année (479), la bite est souvent mise en avant, mais ce n’est pas tout à fait la même bite que celle d’antan. Ce n’est plus une bite autonome et vindicative qui est proposée, comme détachée de son propriétaire, mais plutôt une bite en accord avec des convictions profondes, le prolongement d’une identité humaniste et respectueuse. La bite nouvelle est citoyenne et responsable. Nous avons invité pour notre focus international annuel, une jeune commissaire d’exposition grecque, Maria Xypolopoulou, qui a sélectionné 19 artistes demeurant et travaillant en Grèce. C’est un retour aux sources de l’amour, un hommage au pays créateur de l’érotisme avec son dieu Éros, le dieu de l’amour et de la puissance créatrice.

Like a sociologist, Salo offers a sharp insight into the most recent expressions of contemporary art. For many years, the female organ has been celebrated in all its forms. Since it’s creation in 2013, Salo has displayed its taste for pussy in pendant, in latex, in fur, in photo, in painting, in colour and in black and white. For this eighth Salo, the cock is back. Among the many applications received this year (479), the cock was often put forward, but it is not quite the same cock as that of the past years. The new cock is civic and responsible. For our annual international focus, Maria Xypolopoulou, we have invited a young Greek curator who has selected 19 artists living and working in Greece.
